Crocodile People

Ancient Egyptians worshipped crocodile as the Lord of water and king of Nile river.

It was also the symbol of pharaoh(Firaun).

Unlike those people who kill crocodile for various reasons there are some people in this world who really respect crocodiles a lot and it’s the totem god for them.

In papua, New guinea the "Crocodile People" use to scar the bodies of adult male members to resemble the pattern of crocodile .

Their bodies are deeply cut to mimic the design of crocodile skin and during this process they are told the stories of their ancestors .They learn to withstand great pain.

The wounds are later rubbed with a mixture of oil,ashes and mud. And it
